Clear Coats
Protective clear coats are thin, transparent coatings that offer a shield to surfaces against UV light, water, abrasion and pollutants. There are different types of clear coats, including acrylic, lacquer, urethane, and epoxy, that cater to various applications and provide durability. These coatings are also available with UV absorbers, which prevent the surface underneath from being damaged by UV radiation from the sun. UV absorbers in clear coats can help prevent discoloration, fading, and other damage caused by the sun's harmful rays. Clear coats with UV absorbers are commonly used in applications where the surface is exposed to sunlight for extended periods, such as murals, theming projects, outdoor furniture, flooring, and automotive paint. Clear coats enhance the appearance of the surface by adding depth, gloss, and clarity while providing protection.
