Velature is specially formulated to accept tints and to absorb into the Meoded interior and exterior decorative plasters, leaving the project with color but without luster or shine. Velature is formulated with the highest levels of UV absorbers and inhibitors, shielding your project for years.

Application:

Once tinted and diluted, the Velature can be applied in many ways, depending on the texture of the surface. Typically, a sponge application is the most effective.

Tinting and Diluting:

Velature can be tinted with universal colorants. Tint to the desired color, and then dilute 400% to 600% with water for the first coat. Use light colors for the initial, sealer coat. Use darker colors on later coats to give a deeper, more aged appearance to your project. (Please see the instructions for the individual plasters for more detailed use.)

Coverage:

Due to the type of application method and diluting, (1) Quart will cover anywhere from 100-300 sq. ft.

Hydrowax should be applied with a sponge, rag or spatula/wide putty knife in thin, even coats over an entire surface. It should be allowed to dry up to 12 hours before being buffed to a high sheen using a clean rag or mechanical buffer. As Hydrowax may become too thin to apply properly in warm weather, it may be chilled for a short time for more optimal application. Hydrowax is ready to use, touch dry in 1 to 3 hours, and tools should be cleaned with warm, soapy water.
