Where to Use: Exterior or Interior. All ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Surface Preparation: Old Work - Remove heavy rust, old scaling paint, etc., by wire brushing, chipping or sand blasting. Treat all rusty surfaces with a rust remover solution. All grease-coated surfaces should be cleaned with a suiable chemical product. New Work - Clean all grease-coated surfaces. NOTE: Galvanized metal must be chemically treated or the painting system may fail.
Application: Old Work - Immediately after "preparation" or before rusting can begin, apply by spraying the Ferr-Chem Series 61 Primer either as full coat or as a spot primer over bare areas. New Work - Apply by spraying a full coat of Ferro-Chem Series 61 Primer. Provide fresh air ventilation during and after application.
Dry Time: To recoat about 30-60 minutes; dry hard - 24 hours.
Finishing: Finish with any Mann Brothers finish coating.
Thinning: Spray as is. Reduce with slight amount of water if necessary.
Clean Up: Clean with water while the coating is still wet. If the coating has dried, use proper approved solvent for clean-up.
